Westie, thanks for being helpful, but I have a right to steer some to the subject in question and that is paypal`s incompetence.Politeness rarely gets you anywhere with corporates, they just know they can run roughshod over you.I seem to have drawn out the retired headmasters and vicars today....can`t you go to the park and feed the ducks and leave the way open for constructive responses to deal with that disgusting organisation paypal?

I'm not siding with the corporate 'sharks', just suggesting you might get further if you spoke to people in a nicer manner rather than being rude. Ever heard the saying you catch more flies with honey?
Doesn`t work Skips, tried it with them. It`s taken as an opportunity to ignore and put one to the bottom of the pile.I find that hard-hitting can work at times, but there`s nobody at paypal available to address.the organisation hides behind switchboard operators with no notes or forwarding capability.
I can turn on the charm if required, but charm is the last thing that`ll work with paypal at the moment. It was the last thing required recently with TalkTalk, when that Govt quango the ombudsman failed me and I had to wipe the floor with TalkTalk.
Rolling over to have one`s tummy tickled doesn`t work with these multinationals any more,I`m wise to their little tricks to fob the customer off.
Talking of old sayings, what happened to the one about the customer always being right? To these organisations the customer is someone to nail down and milk dry.

Being overdrawn thanks to paypal thieving my money and not being able to buy essential meds the NHS cannot provide,is not an insignificant issue.

PayPal obviously aren't "thieving your money", despite your enthusiasm for melodrama, and by your own admission you were referring to a small sum "that had been sat in my paypal account for weeks" so you clearly didn't see it as critically urgent or you'd have done something about it sooner....

Icoudn`t find a paypal heading,so I must be the only person with issues with them?
Copy of my message posted on their rigged "community"forum...

Title: Pay(you`re not my)pal thieves and liars.

This disgusting organisation is not fit for purpose. They employ incompetent staff and treat the customer with disdain.
On the 8th July`18 I transferred two x £36 that had been sat in my paypal account for weeks. My money! By the 10th,my monies had still not appeared in my bank account,so I withdrew the final £4.85(don`t leave ANY money in your painpal account,folks)...and low&behold it was in my bank account within minutes. That little test completed,I rang painpal and they claimed their systems had suffered a major malfunction between 6th&8th July and that my 2 x £36 would be in my account within the 72 hours that incompetent organisation give themselves. They said that my case had been "escalated"....one of those meaningless company terms used to fob people off with.
Monies still not in my account by the afternoon of Fri 13th,unlucky for some,I rang them and got some squeaky little incompetent, barely out of school I`d say.She was less use than a chocolate teapot, kept me on hold for 30 mins, with the obligatory repetitive noise one has to put up with from this type of rip-off organisation.Claimed to not be able to do a thing about my case.I asked to be put onto her overlords, but I reckon she put me on hold to do her nails, have a cuppa or `whatever` with her supervisor.
I recorded both calls, aim to put them on social media.Something needs to be done about these large organisations that are not being regulated.
Update:Still no money in my account, and it`s Mon 16th.Apparently technical team are looking into it....again...yeah,of course they are!
Paypal email service just sends people around on a loop.
Phoning them in some hut abroad has them telling you they can do nothing about returning the money they`ve thieved from you....and they put you me hold for half hour(again) but don`t put me through to anybody. This organisation is a disgrace.
Anyone any ideas,I asked their little girl today to put me through to complaints and she just said she couldn`t and was going to end the call and she hung up,for no reason.I recorded the call,as with all my calls, anyone recommend the best outlet for these calls to expose paypal?I was shown how to put stuff on youtube yesterday,so may give them a go.
Paypal are a closed shop,a law unto themselves.Loop back to the customer with emails, they don`t answer them,I have three so-called emails from paypal that are not email responses at all.Switchboard operatives who all claim to not be able to deal with one`s case.A self-governing,self-policing multinational organisation that is not fit to run the smallest operations, let alone a multi billion dollar organisation handling people`s money!
What can I do about getting my money into my account and compensation, from these unregulated scumbags?

Quite frankly, can't say I blame her if you're as patronising in person as you come across on here.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • If you’re running out of money to buy “important meds” and relying on a PayPal transfer, there is a bigger issue here than that which you currently have with PayPal.

While awaiting the next spluttering outburst, perhaps you'd care to while away some time with a game of Outraged Daily Mail Reader Bingo?
