Icoudn`t find a paypal heading,so I must be the only person with issues with them?
Copy of my message posted on their rigged "community"forum...

Title: Pay(you`re not my)pal thieves and liars.

This disgusting organisation is not fit for purpose. They employ incompetent staff and treat the customer with disdain.
On the 8th July`18 I transferred two x £36 that had been sat in my paypal account for weeks. My money! By the 10th,my monies had still not appeared in my bank account,so I withdrew the final £4.85(don`t leave ANY money in your painpal account,folks)...and low&behold it was in my bank account within minutes. That little test completed,I rang painpal and they claimed their systems had suffered a major malfunction between 6th&8th July and that my 2 x £36 would be in my account within the 72 hours that incompetent organisation give themselves. They said that my case had been "escalated"....one of those meaningless company terms used to fob people off with.
Monies still not in my account by the afternoon of Fri 13th,unlucky for some,I rang them and got some squeaky little incompetent, barely out of school I`d say.She was less use than a chocolate teapot, kept me on hold for 30 mins, with the obligatory repetitive noise one has to put up with from this type of rip-off organisation.Claimed to not be able to do a thing about my case.I asked to be put onto her overlords, but I reckon she put me on hold to do her nails, have a cuppa or `whatever` with her supervisor.
I recorded both calls, aim to put them on social media.Something needs to be done about these large organisations that are not being regulated.
Update:Still no money in my account, and it`s Mon 16th.Apparently technical team are looking into it....again...yeah,of course they are!
Paypal email service just sends people around on a loop.
Phoning them in some hut abroad has them telling you they can do nothing about returning the money they`ve thieved from you....and they put you me hold for half hour(again) but don`t put me through to anybody. This organisation is a disgrace.
Anyone any ideas,I asked their little girl today to put me through to complaints and she just said she couldn`t and was going to end the call and she hung up,for no reason.I recorded the call,as with all my calls, anyone recommend the best outlet for these calls to expose paypal?I was shown how to put stuff on youtube yesterday,so may give them a go.
Paypal are a closed shop,a law unto themselves.Loop back to the customer with emails, they don`t answer them,I have three so-called emails from paypal that are not email responses at all.Switchboard operatives who all claim to not be able to deal with one`s case.A self-governing,self-policing multinational organisation that is not fit to run the smallest operations, let alone a multi billion dollar organisation handling people`s money!
What can I do about getting my money into my account and compensation.

I switched off after reading 'Pay (you're not my) pal ' and 'Painpal'. Do people actually think they are funny or clever when they use these 'hilarious' play on words of companies names?

All it does it reduces the impact of whatever your complaint is, and makes the company think you are just on a rant. The best complaints are factual, to the point, and devoid of emotion. Oh, and using insulting language is NEVER the best way to resolve something amicably. This complaint will probably be filed under 'B'.

The OP may have diluted his case with painpal stuff but I think there are many that would sympathise with the cosmetic customer service offered by many companies these days. Everything works well until there is a problem and then that sorts out the good from the bad.

You hopefully have a complaint in with them. If you don't have a formal complaint in with them, raise one. Avoid crap puns in it. Be short, concise and to the point. You could excise three quarters of the text from your original post and you would still have all the details they need to know - money was sent, didn't arrive, no help, here is how to fix, please fix. No need for a rant about how terrible they are as an enterprise and how they ought to be wound up and exploded. If they don't respond to you within 8 weeks or you don't like their response, go to FOS. There is your advice.

Incidentally PayPal is not unregulated, it is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority in its capacity as an e-money provider and additionally as a credit provider through PayPal Credit. That's why you have FOS rights.

I sympathise with the OP's predicament but at the same time they're both making a mountain out of a molehill and also making themselves look like a prize wazzock. Complaints handlers tend to switch off a bit when you start making snide digs, you want them to be on your side.

I'm not toeing (or 'towing'!) any corporate line and am not seeking to defend PayPal, who would appear not to be covering themselves in glory here.

However, IMHO their minor faults don't go anywhere near warranting the hysterical and extravagant over-reaction that you seem to consider necessary, so perhaps one day when you've had a chance to get a sense of perspective you'll be able to see both how ludicrously overblown your rant was, and in turn how entertaining it is for those who already possess that alignment with reality.

In the mean time, as above, file a formal complaint....

    Hi,

You have posted a thread asking for help but when you get replies you answer with catty remarks, others here are trying to help you, please be polite.

In relation to your issue with PayPal. There is obviously a problem here and they are aware of it, I would suggest that you contact them again either via email, or live chat where you can get a transcript of your conversation which is helpful when you need to prove what has been said or agreed, or even get them to call you back although its a free phone number it gives you an alternative option

When I have had issues with PayPal I have had my case escalated and the call handler is able to see my case on the screen and try and help or give a time frame of help, so as you seem to have been mucked about and passed from one person to the next I would make sure that you mention that you are not happy. They will be able to see from the case notes who you have already spoken to, so you shouldn't need to worry about your secret phone call recordings.

If you are not able to get a resolution or a date of when it will be fixed say you will be in contact within 14 days to chase up as you feel this is enough time for the issues to be sorted.

I would ask for compensation for your issues onced its sorted,

Here is the contact details for Paypal with options to email and live chat.

I cannot agree with you on this point.
With the OP's attitude I think s/he probably deserves what they get. OTOH I have always found a bit of politeness, patience and good humour goes a long way. I recently had a paypal issue which their support line sorted out amicably and cheerfully within 5 minutes.
The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....

And judging by the first couple of lines, and thread title, yours fails on all counts.

I may have sympathised if the OP hadn't been so rude about the call centre worker. No doubt he spoke to her the same way. Having worked in a call centre many years ago, and had to put up with being spoken to like that believe me his complaint would be at the bottom of my pile of things to do!

Oh well,no sense to be found on here today.I have a right to question their using of the words pay and pal when a)they aren`t paying money that belongs to me....and b)they are no pals of mine.
No wonder this country is in a mess with the likes of you lot siding with the corporate sharks.Very sad to see.

I'm not siding with the corporate 'sharks', just suggesting you might get further if you spoke to people in a nicer manner rather than being rude. Ever heard the saying you catch more flies with honey?
