Used debit card over the phone, as the card machine wasn't working. Still have void receipt from failed transaction so at least I can put a time and date I was theretheonlywayisup wrote: »I haven't read your OP as I'm on a phone. Are you saying you made a bank transfer or that you paid by card? There is a BIG difference in how you go forward "if ya get my drift".0 -
ifv they have lost details , and you do chargeback , then they can then see where the money went , as they will have it removed

Managed to get through to head office today, miraculously they still have my details, but no record of the fitting job for Saturday. Every credit to them they're jumping through hoops to try and get it done this week. But at least they have my order on record.
Shop has closed indefinitely, not relocated. So not so happy at that.0 -

Do keep a notebook with times dates names of every person you speak to.0 -
Hats off to their main office - they got back to me, passed me to the Warrington store (25 miles away) and they've got a guy coming Saturday morning to do it all. Everything is accounted for - but if I hadn't raised it with them in the first place i'd have been left hanging. Cheers for the advice folks0

So have you got the laminate already then as you said it needs to climatise in the house for at least 3 days ( some say a bit longer depending on the manufacturer).
If you haven't got it, then I can't see how it is going to get to you and climatise by Saturday?0 -
apparently this stuff doen't need to acclimatise. Taking their word for it, it comes with a guarantee so if it shrinks by Monday they can come and sort it0
