Evening
Well its been a bit of an up and down week. Money wise its been good.... but health wise not so great.
I worked 10 hours overtime this week so that's a decent amount that I will get in my wages next month think its about £100. Got given £50 for my ipad I lent my friend months ago that id forgotten about and the promise of a few takeaways once I get my new place. I did a car boot sale today and made £70 after taking off the fee and the bits and pieces I bought! I've also sold some things for £10 on facebook tonight and had a bit of interest in a few other bits.
I worked too much overtime this week that by Thursday at work before lunch time I had a full blown panic attack, made myself sick and ended up in tears for most of the day... then completely broke down when I was driving home could hardly see for crying... spent most of the night in tears. I honestly think I just overdid it and started letting things get on top of me again. Im feeling a lot more positive now but on Thursday I was thinking what is the point is anything worth all this hassle.
Im shattered tonight so am just watching the rugby league game that's on and then think I will go to bed for an early night as im struggling to stay awake.
So far out of my top goals I've met the following
1. Car Insurance £15 done
2. Car Repairs £15 done
3. Gas £40 done
4. Electric £40 done
5. Water £40 - still to do
6. Emergency Fund £50 (envelope 1 done)
I'm still waiting to get £8 in from items I sold through work and £20 from things sold on facebook so Im hoping to get this money in soon and my aim is to have the water money saved by the end of the week with any luck.
Overtime is still going to be on at work so Im going to do some more but am only going to aim for 5.5 hours this week which will give me an additional £50 towards next months wages.
I haven't done any housework for a while cause ive been working and when im not working im just collapsing on the couch so tomorrow I need to get some housework done.
Goals for tomorrow:
- tidy bedroom, hoover
- clean bathroom
- load \ unload dishwasher, do hand wash dishes dry and put away
- do one basket of ironing and put away
- put 5 things onto facebook selling page
- sort out the boxes I brought back from the car boot sale
- get another box out of loft and sort out
Think that's more than enough for me.... if I even do half of that I will be happy.
This is day 22 of not gambling so am feeling really proud of myself about that cause from Thursday it's been one of the only things I could think about but the notion is passing so its all good. Will try and update again soon.

You've done really well and seem really organised.
Super well done for not gambling, I know the feeling but by closing the accounts and taking away the temptation is the best thing I've done !!
Now to get get hooked on saving money and reducing the debt lol.
Just wanted to ask will you not get any money from the house sale to pay off your debts ??0 -
I am so impressed, Raldo. Fantastic selling! Really so well done for not gambling.

Morning fully intended to have a long lie in this morning but was just lying there awake so thought I'd get up and get on with getting this house sorted... so im sitting on the couch now with a coffee catching up on swat and MSE... I will get up and get stuff done soon... honest!
Debtbegone2021 Im not sure how much we will get from selling the house but we have only been in it for 2 years and had a 95% mortgage we bought the property for £100k and the outstanding mortgage is £92k. I've looked into the estate agent fees and its looking like that will cost £1.5k and there is a mortgage completion fee of a few hundred so I think that if we get £100k for the property there may be £5k left over which will need to be split equally so possibly looking at £2.5k each.
If I get this amount I will need to repay my dad as he is going to pay the deposit and first months rent in my new cottage (hoping the house will sell quickly when i put it on the market) so this is going to be £1800 which would only leave me £700 and I owe my husband £600 so I want to pay that back so that will be that debt gone and will leave me with £100 that I will probably need to use to get my mail re-directed or for something else for the new place.
Obviously if we can get any more than £100k for it that would be fantastic and if I did that might give me a bit of breathing space. My first thought was im paying £21.77 for the sofa that we have bought and it still has £420 until its paid off so as im going to be a bit short I thought I could pay that off which would leave me with one less outgoing every month (it is on 0% so its not essential to pay this off early but would reduce my outgoings) it's a lot of ifs so trying not to think about it at the moment.
Just going to focus on getting as much money behind me as possible and hoping that I get the cottage and that I can get as much money from selling the house as possible.
Now to get off the couch and start with getting this house in order as I know I will feel better for doing it. Will check in later.

Well todays goals were:
- tidy bedroom, hoover
- clean bathroom
- load \ unload dishwasher, do hand wash dishes dry and put away - done
- do one basket of ironing and put away
- put 5 things onto facebook selling page - done
- sort out the boxes I brought back from the car boot sale - done the ones in the conservatory
- get another box out of loft and sort out
I have sold 7 items that I put on facebook today and I've put on another few aswell so hoping that I will get a few more bits and pieces sold.
I've managed to get £23 in today so only another £17 to get and I've made the money for the waters first months payment.... and I've still got £22 to get in from facebook and £8 from stuff sold through work so know its possible... I know £10 of this I will get today so if I can get another £7 in today I can then look ahead to the next goal that I've set.
I haven't done everything I wanted to do in the house but instead of the bathroom and the bedroom I have been concentrating on the downstairs so the kitchen is sparkling now and I've made a start on the conservatory. Half of it actually looks like a conservatory the other half is still like a dumping ground but am getting there. Hoping to get the conservatory done today but I hurt my back yesterday with all the lifting at the car boot and its really sore so am going to see if I can get it done and find a few more treasures without doing any more damage.
So once I've got the water money in its back onto the following:
1. Road Tax £10
2. Car Insurance £20
3. House Insurance £20
4. Car repairs £25
5. TV Licence £5
6. Morrisons £10
7. Asda £12
8. Gas £40
9. Food £20
10. Petrol £20
Part of me feels like I should really be paying some extra money to my debts but I've made all the minimum payments and im still making a payment every day to them and once I get the house sold and get settled in my new place (hopefully the cottage) I can start to bring the debt down... how im going to do this who knows but will do my best.

Well I sold some more things this afternoon so the Water money and the road tax has now been put away with still £12 to come in from facebook and £8 from work means that car insurance money will also be covered...
Must get some ironing done and some tidying the livingroom is like a dumping ground at the moment! Still haven't finished the conservatory but its looking a lot better than it did at the start of the day so am happy with that.Trust Deed Protected 1 out of 48 payments made 47 months to go!0 -
