Despite receiving free advice over a period of four months from volunteers, some people just don't return the gesture by updating the forum, but not dissimilar to a number of 'take everything, give nowt back' posters we see here from time to time.

The OP hasn't visited the forum since 14 June by when his/her case must have been concluded, so could have easily given a sentence or two on the outcome then.

    Frustrating and somewhat annoying.

Happens on the benefits board, too. As you say frustrating as sometimes a benefit decision will impact on others

It's not just online. At CAB I used to be the person who did certain benefit claims for clients. I'd always ask them to update me on the outcome as it would help me ensure that I was doing them right. Very rarely did anyone do this. In the end I assumed that I was doing okay as they could have returned for help with an appeal etc

Or they might have thought I was useless and tried another organisation!
