Virgin sale and offers?

Options
Does anyone have any idea if there will be any impending offers or deals on Virgin flights in the coming weeks?

Want to book a multi city from Lon to San Fran, and then come back from Los Angeles. Apart from the Easter sales, where flights were about £450pp, the price seems to be sticking fairly high since and there hasnt been many offers.

Historically, I's sure in previous years, they intermittently has some flyer miles offers and some short lived sale deals. Lovely Martin Lewis says that around 11-12 weeks is the peak time for lowest prices before the holiday, which gives us a deadline of 31st July...just a little out of our budget at the mo.

If anyone has any ideas as Virgin doesnt give anything away. I have looked into other airlines and tbh I think we will stick with what we know... hit and miss reviews for all other airlines.

Thanks money savers for any help :)

The market is completely dead at the moment and people are not booking at any fare level. The word is that next week when the World Cup is over the deals will start appearing. In truth, Virgin tend to follow or be followed by BA, especially on the transatlantic routes, ultimately if they can sell at high prices they will have no need for a sale. Virgin are using smaller planes on many routes with fewer economy seats which may also mean less need for sales, but watch and see what happens next week.
