Letter of Claim for charge already settled.

Hi all,

I posted here around March 2016 and you helped me sort out my issues - I received an email from Parking Eye explaining that my charge had been cancelled. DRPlus then got in touch, and so I forwarded them the email from PE explaining that the charge had been cancelled, they then replied explaining that the charge was not relating to PE but Premier Parking Solutions - this confused me a lot, as Parking Eye had confirmed that the PCN relating to the PCN Number I sent them had been cancelled.

I heard nothing from then until last week when I received a Letter of Claim from BW Legal, working for Premier Parking Solutions, explaining they want the money with the PCN Number the same as the previous interactions.

I am obviously very confused, I thought this was sorted, and Parking Eye told me it had been cancelled in January 2016. Either Parking Eye never had the charge and they just sent a generic email explaining it had been cancelled or something else is going on.

Any advice would be very useful as I really don't know where to go from here or who to contact to get to the bottom of this confusion.

Thanks in advance.

You appear to have missed the simple fact this is nothing to do with the ParkingEye PCN.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • Hi Coupon-mad - thanks for getting back to me!

I am slightly confused by your reply, the PCN number and contravention date I sent to Parking Eye, who then said the charge was cancelled, is the same as is quoted in the Letter of Claim from BWL.

I see other thread you say PE , as in parking eye , you also say PE were using debt collectors and this was a residential area

something is wrong , PE do veryy few residential settups and only in very rare cases use debt collectors (if so it would be expedia???) ,

you are now getting junk from BW over another company ,

this has nothing to do with PE , and I am wondering if you are refering to ANPR camera system as Parking eye
  • Hi twhitehousecat, thanks for the reply!

I am even more confused now! I will try and find the original paperwork relating to the original charge.

Why would PE tell me that they'd reviewed the claim and cancelled it?

A ParkingEye PCN number is in this format xxxxxx/xxxxxx (all numbers).

    A PPS one is not.

Maybe you had one of each.

ParkingEye NEVER use BW Legal! This is PPS.

  • Ah - that is rather frustrating. Thank you so much for the information.

I will check through the normal procedures of fighting this properly now!

  • Hi again all - just a small question. Is there anyone I can/should contact regarding Parking Eye seemingly telling me a charge not even relating to them had been reviewed and cancelled? Seems rather misleading.

    Thanks!

Forget parking lie. You need to deal with this LBC and PPS.
