how about a motion sensor sprinkler, supposed to scare off cats but i'm sure the first time they go to take a pee and get a soaking they won't want to return...

How horrible! I'd rig up a camera to take flash photos when it detects movement (people have similar setups for photographing wildlife) and stick the photos up in all the local pubs...0
