    Morning all
    Bright and breezy here too.
Went with Dad to the Drs and he was given more anti b's and steroids. Whether he will take them as prescribed is another story :(. Following that I lay awake till 4am thinking about things that I have no control over .
This morning I have emptied the DW, sorted out my front window blind and helped Mr Fix It wash down our awning as it was put away sticky from tree sap and dust. I have also played hide and seek with the charger for the tree lopper, I won :j and it's now on charge. I have brought in the empty recycling boxes/bags and I have put the potatoes, which I bought yesterday, to dry, before putting them in a sack and I found a massive one. So I have microwaved it, ready for teatime. Mr Fix It will make a filling and it will feed us both quite nicely.
I'm just having a coffee before I make a start in the garden, trouble is I don't know what to tackle first. Oh well if I don't surface in 3 days, please send out a search party :rotfl:.
Holly I had intensive physio on a knee as I had a fall ( nothing new there then :rotfl: ) when my knee and face took the brunt :(. Anyway it took 6 weeks before I felt any improvement and I was also getting pain in my lower back because I was compensating for the damaged knee. Still get problems with that knee now and again but the physio really helps as long as you do the exercises.
TA I can only send virtual hugs to you and Mr TA, it is heartbreaking to feel so helpless. I just wish I could give you both help/ support in person :grouphug:.
Hester I hope your appointment goes as well as expected :).

Right must get myself into gear and make a start !
I wish everyone a good Tuesday and I will send healing vibes to the poorly and many, many hugs to all.
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently

    TA, I'm thinking of you.

dumpling, I'm glad you feel a bit brighter.

Our visitors have just gone, they enjoyed the jaunt to Wimbledon but as I foresaw did have train problems. They ended up going back to Bedford so we picked them up from there, although the main route in was closed so we had to go the long way round.

DH is off to Thirsk in the campervan and I shall be joining him on Friday. I didn't want to go up and be stuck in the van for 3 days while he was working. We collected the Ziggypup yesterday because DD and SiL are off to the Seychelles for a couple of weeks. I'm sure the weather won't be any nicer there than it is here but they'll be able to relax.

After they come back they're at a wedding in Glasgow and then a yoga retreat so Ziggy will be with us for the whole of July. I walked her at 8 this morning an will wait till 8 this evening before I take her out again.

TA you really are having a bad time of it honey, lots of worry plus DGC care thrown in as well, much as we all love our grandchildren its a lot of work on you when you are doing your best for your OH,I think you are an amazing lady. All that too-ing and fro-ing plus being mucked about with his Drs and meds as well Have a hug honey xxx

Well coffee morning went well, and bless, one of my quizzers for tonight has persuaded her OH to drop her at the pub before the footie starts as she hates football, henormally comes with her but as its England he has got a 'free pass out' for tonight :):)

Its an absolutely glorious day here, sunny and warm with a slight breeze to keep me just pleasantly cool. DGS Henry who has a couple of study revision days this week has just made me a cuppa, and I'm sitting in the garden with my lap-top.

Its far too nice to be stuck indoors , got to Dds at lunchtime and Henry had even stacked the dishwasher and tidied the kitchen so I had very little to do, he is a good lad bless him I may have to give him a wee treat later this week as he had also walked the dogs and watered his mums garden before it got too hot.

No shopping to buy today and no cooking tonight as I will eat at quiz in the pub. A really easy day today in fact :):)

H/Harvey I'm glad you didn't get the dreaded arthritis diagnosis as having had it myself since the age of 28 its not something I would wish on my worst enemy. Mind you being a bit of a cussed person my original Drs diagnosis said I would be in a wheelchair by the age of 40 odd I am still able to hobble around with my stick at the moment more than 45 plus years later .:) No doubt it will come ,but I do my best to keep the joints moving as much as I can, as my late OH used to say I am pretty stubborn when it comes to not giving in :):).I know I am slowing down a lot every year but now I just enjoy the looking around and smelling the roses a bit more :):):)

Nelski hope your not overdoing it though ,be kind to your joints honey :)

Right time for another cuppa of our Henry's tea (DD has a large teapot )

Take care everyone and fingers crossed for tonight

    JackieO xx
