It happens all the time in PV&W (and on other boards), and they are not removed unless MSE thinks they may be in trouble for leaving it. I can't see any issue with naming the carpenter in this case, who hasn't yet been accused of anything other than not completing the job, which is a statement of fact rather than being defamatory.0 -

No one here can know for sure whether it's a fact or not. There may also be several carpenters who share the same name even in the same part of the country.a statement of fact rather than being defamatory.
Therefore best practice is not to name any one person and stick only to company names.0
