Help on termination of O2 Contract

I have a contract with O2, £5 discounted from £15/month, will be expired on 7th Dec 2007. Spoke to retention and advised that the best option is to ring them back on 8th Nov, if no deal good to keep me then write to them to cancel.

I remembered there is a 30days notice. Wondering if it is too late to write to them after7th Dec 2007 as I might be liable to one more month line rental, which will be £15 a month!

If I have to write to them now, what is the address?

I do not mind keeping my no or not, with O2 or anybody else, even a PAYG deal. What is the best course of action? Any good offer? I make very little outbound call, and phone is mainly for receiving calls.

Many thanks for your advice and help as always.

If you want to cancel, then write now as the notice period won't start until they get the letter.

This is the address for o2 cancellations (not 02 via cpw).
