    Wow, brilliant loss MissTeach

Another day of feeling rather ikky for me. Really suffering with this heat and my kidneys. Having to work from home today because I'm absolutely knackered.

Despite that I am trying to stick to plan

    Today's plan:
Breakfast - scrambled egg and asparagus
    Lunch - salad
    Dinner - salad
Snacks - fruit, cereal bars, frozen yogurt

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - cereal bars
Syns - dressing (2), and there will be more

2.5lbs off for me. All of this good cheer around England in the World Cup is definitely affecting my weight loss :D but it only happens every 4 years so I'll survive :P

Don't forget the Euros in between ;) so every 2 years :)

Well I've been AWOL for the whole bloody challenge! Sorry guys. Work is keeping me super busy.

I know I'm not in the chart but thought I'd check in to let you know that I lost -3.5lb tonight and got my 7.5 stone award!! Woohoo!
Had set myself a challenge to achieve that one before we broke up for the summer holidays and have managed it with a week and a half to spare. Super happy at the moment!

    Wow, well done:T

  • Thanks for comment re body fighting infection. Think it is ok, there is a little bit of a root, but nothing to cause further problems I think.

Wow Miss Teach, that is some achievement! I think I need to go for that, but going for 5 at the moment, will then decide whether to change target.

    WI tonight:eek:
A smile costs little but creates much :)
  • Really thanks for all the tips.

 Hello All! Back from my holiday yesterday and easing myself in gently to SW plan.

There's no way I can read back for nearly a month so I hope you're all doing well and look forward to getting back to our lovely, virtual group.:A

I feel like I've gained but nothing like as much as this time last year. The main difference was that I cut back a lot on stuffing myself with white bread starting with having a couple of Ryvita with breakfast in the apartment every day. Another bonus was that, in many restaurants, you needed to ask for bread so it wasn't there tempting me. Probably a cost cutting measure for them but it helped me.:)

My plan going forward is to have as many SP breakfasts and lunches as possible until I'm sure I'm back in target although I don't plan to go to WI for a couple of weeks. I'm not really going to be 100% on plan until Monday as I need to withdraw from the daily wine syns.:o

I did a small shop yesterday to stock up on Speed so I can post a menu.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix with HEA milk
L: veggie omelette (courgette, spring onion, mushroom, tomato) with beetroot
D: chicken stir fry with noodles
Syns: 2.5 honey in sauce, wine syns;).

Welcome back Maman; I only got back last week. Could have gone to group as got back Wednesday evening but decided against it! That of course gave me a week to lose a bit, although according to my scales I was only just out of target. Had a bit of a mixed week! Was a case of Be Good when I could and Careful when I couldn't! Had a combination of Green days, SP day (only the one I always feel hungry on SP days!) & EE. Also had a flexible syn day on Tuesday when we went out for a meal we'd won in a raffle (I guessed at about 40 or so syns!)

Went to WI this morning found I'd put on 3lb! pleased with that as it meant I was still in target! Absolutely amazed at that as it was definitely very off plan whilst on holiday - French bread every day; alcohol syns every day; you get the picture!

    Today's plan:

B - tasters at group this morning - counting 5 syns but probably wasn't as much as that - kept to the savoury stuff rather than the sweet stuff
L - LO chicken & veg curry & rice from last night
D - jacket potato with either tuna mayo or beans (haven't decided which yet but probably beans as haven't got much mayo left and couldn't get any this morning in Mr Ts!); salad; followed by fruit, quark & maybe a mini meringue for 1 syn.

    HEA - milk
HEB - no idea but will probably be either bread or Ryvita, so syns for butter
Syns - tasters 5; mini meringue 1; possibly an extra 1 if I decide on tuna mayo and 2 if I decide to have my HEB but will only have that if I need it.
