Ex Abandons Broken Down Car on Driveway?
Hi all, question for you...
My sister has split with her boyfriend but he is not responding to messages about moving his car from her drive.
The car is broken down and needs a low loader to remove it. Sister isn't the person registered on the log book though correspondence is against her address (demands to tax/insure are piling up!)
She doesn't have an address for her ex but does have a mobile number however he doesn't seem to be answering calls or voice messages/txts.
Someone did offer to buy the car scrap value and take it away but the ex didn't respond.
What can she do to get rid of his car?
Thanks.

Give him 7 days to remove or you'll get it collected by the local scrapyard and pursue him through the small claims court for any costs.

Text, email, parents address etc. A bit of effort and brain power might be required, depends on how much they want shot of this wreck.0 -
She would get scrap value for it so there would be no money for her to pursue him for anyway.0

Push it onto the Highway and report it as abandoned?0

I think the first priority would be inform DVLA that the owner doesnt live at that address.0
