SKY Contract

Hi,
I'm new to this site and apologise if this topic has been already covered, but I couldn't find it.
I've noticed an increase in my Sky bill and a discount that was there is no longer there. Before I contact Sky, I want to read my contract to confirm what I actually agreed to when I signed up with them last year over the phone.
My Question is - Where is my contract?
I have looked through my paper records and my emails, to no avail.

Do they still issue a hard copy?

Can I request it?

Or do they just hold a recording of the phone call?

Thanks for any help in advance.:)

I've never had a hard copy. I have had an email confirming any agreements made. Usually when a discount disappears it means the end of the fixed term contract and you have moved on to a rolling one. MySky has some detail but not the exact contract. For next time worth putting a date in your diary as to when any fixed term contract/discount expires.

    Hi,

Yes, I will certainly be more careful in future, but it is difficult when you don not have a transcript of a phone call that caught you un-prepared for it and decided to go with what was being offered.
    Hindsight is a great lesson!!

I just find it difficult to understand that in this day and age, in the UK, that they are not OBLIGED to provide you with some kind of copy of what was agreed??

I have just looked through my documents from when I signed up for SKY and I have a separate 21 page booklet labelled 'Your Sky Contracts'.

You would have had an email.
