    You can't actually drive over a raised kerb, the fact they haven't been pulled up yet doesn't mean it's allowed.


    Usually complaints are the only reason for them to enforce it. no complaints then no one cares.


    You certainly can't lower it though, that has to go through the council and there is no gap in the law about it.

    The only law that stops people is S184, and that only applies after a notice has been served. In any other situation it is lawful to drive over a standard kerb to gain access to adjoining property.
