nationwide Flex Direct account coming to the end of the 5% so decided to apply and switch the account to HSBC to take advantage of the switching incentive, applied for the account and switch online on 8th June had to go into branch to verify ID( I have an HSBC credit Card) and I am still waiting for the account to be opened and the switch incentive ends tomorrow 30th June.
I`m no expert but this seems to be rather slow is this the norm for HSBC ??

HSBC have form for being slow with account opening when switching incentives are available, as they don't seem to have the capacity to open accounts quickly when busy.
I'd suggest calling or going into branch.urs sinserly,

Requirement is to apply for account by 30 June and then switch within 30 days of it being opened so you should be ok. I’m still waiting to hear about my application from a couple of days ago.0

Possibly but deadline suggests today is last opportunity.
Guess you are right though as the incentive should be mentioned on their website.0 -

It does look like they've pulled the details from the product page early but as you've applied in accordance with the terms you should be eligible for the incentive even though your account isn't fully open. I don't see what you've got to lose by waiting it out?Gutted I was going to apply for this too but can't see any deal on their website.
Ts&Cs are still there and you should still be eligible if you apply today. Personally I'd go for it even though the offer is no longer on the product page.
