Microsoft Word? Not inside a web browser? On a Chromebook? I don't think so.
You said nothing before, this is your first post in this thread.john240870 wrote: »yes it does im using word on chromebook its the same as my phone it a app
yes i can but as said before would be nice to print direct from word0 -
Acer Chromebook iam using the word app on the Chromebook
I'm still confused about this 'word app' - you're confirming it's not Google Docs, but how are you running Word on a Chromebook?!
The problem isn't printing from the Chromebook, that works, it's this mysterious 'word app' there's a problem with.0 -

You are trying to print from an Android app. You'll need to get Microsoft to confirm that it supports printing on Chromebooks.0 -

In this instance, there are three or four flavours of Word it could have been, and in order to get closer to a solution, we needed to know which it was.
Is there a File|Share (or Sharing) menu entry? One video I saw showed a printing option (separate from the main one) under this menu.0 -
When I click on print on Microsoft word i get an error message as I said before.0

The Word app is an android app and it took me a while to actually realize just because something runs on Chromebook it's not necessarily created for Chromebook. The Google Docs, Sheets etc android apps are actually a lot more restricted on a Chromebook than using the apps through the browser.
Same with Word... It is written for Android so you need an "Android Printer" - Just install the Google Cloud Print app from the Play store and you will then have access to your cloud printer from within Word. :beer:0
