printing from word on chromebook

Hello All, I've just bought a new Chromebook and can use it with my cloud printer and it works really well. But i can't print from Microsoft word it comes up with an error saying printer spooler keeps stopping .and it closes the app. Any idea?

How are you running work on a Chromebook? I assume you must be using an online version.

Try to export the document to .pdf, upload it to your Google drive and print from there.

Yes that works fine but would be nice to print direct from word

Expected that those so prominent in recommending Chromebooks, would be here with a solution.

'word' doesn't run on a Chromebook. Are you using Office on the web? Can you simply open the document with Google Docs and print from it?

yes it does im using word on chromebook its the same as my phone it a app

Since the op hasn't told us what model of Chromebook, what model of printer, and won't tell us what app they're trying to print from, it's hardly surprising that solutions are thin on the ground.

Hi sorry for the lack of info im using an Epson 8500 printer and a Acer Chromebook iam using the word app on the Chromebook i can print from google drive and other google apps
