We called a company out of desperation called ERG for a crack in the toilet.. at the time of the phone call this wasn’t mentioned was the problem... a man came out and told me I would receive a quote the next day (the original problem was known to the landlord who said he would wait til it was a problem and he would sort when it was a problem but was away when it was and said he would let us sort it cost wise on his return) the next day no reply as was promised and pee and pop water running down our wall we managed to get someone else out but had the cost of ERG landlord is only happy to pay the cost of the plumbers word .... we got the bill down to 99rather than 198 but then they take 198 from my bank account without warning or agreeing to the price than refused to refund the amount unless our landlord paid.. our account was on hold pending investigation and they sent no correspondent that it was no longer on hold or when they would take the money and then said my £198 would stay there’s until they had payment from the landlord..... AFTER RECORDED PHONE CALL AGREED A FULL REFUND

I have no idea what that post is meant to be asking. However, I do know it's not a technical question.
Someone needs to move it to the correct forum...Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

They cannot take money from your bank account without you making a payment to them. How did you make the payment, and for how much?
As the toilet has been repaired and you have paid for this, perhaps you should just accept £99 from the the landlord as a contribution to the repair. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -

Seems like the poster is a tenant.
So I have no idea why the tenant is arranging repairs to his toilet.
If a tenant does take over responsiblity for a repair like this, he is liable for the full cost. And for any extra costs if the repair goes wrong.....
But yes, pee & poop queries should be on the house renting forum.0
