So nothing to do with making extra money then?


How can reducing something that benefits a passenger and then charge for it "increase customer satisfaction".


I assume this firm conducted a survey and the respondents said:


"Yeah I am am sick of delays due to pesky and cumbersome hand luggage it is about time the allowance was reduced and we were charged for the remainder."


I bet the service will not improve as a result.
