I don't have Google Now (thats a launcher isn't it?) or those settings anywhere.
I don't have Nearby enabled as it needs Bluetooth and I don't use that.
I can't see anything relevant in Location permissions either.
I've got no idea whats generating the damn things!
Nope, it's not the launcher, it's now just called Google...So, find 'Google' in your Apps
Go to 'Settings'
Scroll down to 'Your Feed'
Turn off 'Show feed'
