Another cry for help from this direction!
I recently unnamed some paper from the paper path in my printer, but struggled to get the paper path reinserted securely. Finally I did, but it's now inserted so securely it's actually jammed. Any ideas on how to remove this section once more? There's more paper stuck in ther but I don't want to force it. Can it be done without seeking external assistance? Is there anything I can unscrew to loosen it from another side without making it worse? I'm tempted to try WD40 but I don't know exactly where to spray it.
Help please?

it is said a picture paints a thousand words, but in some cases two or more thousand words
WD40 is the last thing you should use, even then possible only on the metal things that turn, and not the things that slide

Will this help? If not, try emailing HP Support with your problem. Always found HP helpful, had HP printers and other components and devices for years.

a much bigger hammer.

Which part is jammed? Is the whole paper feed stuck in the body of the printer, or is it the release buttons that are stuck?0

turn the printer off
Hopefully you know the route that a sheet follows???
Get a 2 litre coke bottle and cut out a rectangle about 3" or 4" wide and about 8" high
Feed in reverse the 4" side in rectangle though the printer. it may take a few goes to cover the whole width. You may need to turn a few cogs in reverse. Since you have been unhelpful with information about your printer you will have to work it out?
A credit card will do something similar, but is much ticker, less flexible and shorter.
Be aware there might be paper sensor leavers and pushing plastic in reverse may break or dislodge them, so please use common sense.
If you do go the unscrewing route, take a video of you performing the task, and note which length of screw goes where, Be careful around the thin or flimsy plastic bits and cables and their connectors0
