Thanks all. Yes I did get some sleep in the end. DS came in not long after swearing he'd heard my alarm go off! He ended up getting into my bed (DH is away) so I had to settle down so that he would.
Things seem to have sorted themselves out now. DH has mostly sorted the rental property out so it's almost ready to be advertised. I'll be glad when it does as obviously we are still paying the mortgage even though it's empty.
I was also up worrying about a situation that could have blown up for DD in school. Thankfully that seems to have calmed itself now too. Let's hope it stays that way.
DD has been to the cinema today. She went with friends of ours and they refused to let me pay for her ticket. They took her to the "cheap" cinema in the next town over but still, that was really nice of them. DS hasn't wanted to get dressed at all today! So I've spent the day tidying and cleaning the house. It's better than it was but definitely not show home worthy.

Finally February :rotfl:
January seemed a very loooooooooong month! DH was away for a lot of it so it's nice to have him home. He's got quite a bit of overtime lined up for this month though but at least I know he'll be coming home to me once he's done for the day.
I've been on a big spring clean which surprised me. I've never been one to spring clean but this year I really felt the need to get some sort of order. The downstairs is looking better than it has in forever. The upside has been getting some little jobs done that have been hanging around forever! We still need to cover 2 of the kitchen doors but then that's the kitchen re done. (We bought vinyl to revamp the doors rather than buying new ones)
I took some curtains and curtain poles back for a refund. I bought them for the rental property when we were thinking of possibly selling it but we don't think we are likely to go down that route so I took them back and £160 back in my account.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Thanks Beanie it was handy. Plus there's not much point keeping the curtains and poles if we are not going to use them. I'm glad I was brave and took them backGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
