Many thanks.
My intention was to load something so when I saw the "Loading Only" on the layby I stopped the car ( I mentioned it in my initial appeal to Gladstones which obviulsly they ignored but they use this in their WS) however when mrs sunglasses pointed me to the PMC sign on the wall and said I can't stop there then I drove off. My son as witness can also confirm this in the hearing. What is your view?

Then you should build that into your WS.

Is he attending as an official witness? Even then, he may not be given the opportunity to say anything. This won’t play out like an American courtroom drama!

Update!

Claimant didn't turn up. Spent 20 minutes in court disputing the case and mentioned all procedural and operational issues by PCM and Gladstones, including issues with signage, grace period, predatory tactics, land ownership and so on. Surprisingly Judge didn’t see any issue with the predatory tactics!. Eventually case dismissed due to confusion over the ownership of the lay-by. Unfortunately, costs were not awarded.
