Found out Setanta Sports News launches November 29. Channel number TBA.
  • Why do people bother subscribing to Setanta and Sky which are total rip off packages!

    Their is alternatives out there!!
  • Like...?

I tried streaming footie, and the quality is terrible, but I'd be more than willing to try other methods! I spend a fortune with Sky!

EDIT: Also... Check out the 8-0!!!! Champions League record!

There are no alternatives. Not legal ones anyway. Unless you're talking about terrestrial TV. Virgin Media isn't an alternative either, as the sport is still coming from the Sky channels.

I've got a multi boot(many xp's installed), so have a clean install setup for footy streaming, clean cache, no web browser history etc

I'm on 20 MB and on a saturday I have a few stream's open at once from footy doctor, just mute them all apart from one I'm watching and flick between games (you can't buy that :D)

Virgin Media have sentanta sports free with their XL package and BT Vision also have setanta and virgin media also have the rights to football highlights available free on their website.. Football matches can be bough to view on uefa.com and other sites in a compleatly legal way. Sky sports is no longer the only source for sports now. And dont forget Eurosports on digital tv there are more alternatives now totality.

OK, for the majority, via a standard (read: Sky) dish, there are no alternatives.
