    Hello again,

I have received Directions questionnaire completed by Gladstones. Also, they are asking that everything should be dealt with papers, no court. What now?
When you get your own copy from the CCBC you'll need to complete it.

I am sure you won't be surprised to hear that you now need to re-read post #2 of the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread.

In there you will find all the answers on how exactly to address every question on that form.

When you have completed the form, send it as a PDF to the same email address that you sent your Defence to. See post #31 above.
Don't forget to send Gladstones a copy of your completed DQ.

Gladstones are always doing this now.

YOU SAY NO TO PAPERS as your chances of a win
is limited basically because being heard on papers
will probably be read by a person who is clueless
about the scam and these dodgy claims

Gladstones tend to do this when they are unsure
of the case. They have good reason because the courts
know all about Gladstones and because their claims
    are so poor.

See the judge face to face with a good defence and win.

When you win, you can claim costs

Seriously? Why were you not ready for that letter? Happens every time.

That specific letter is already covered in the NEWBIES thread. And in every Gladstones case you care to read (and you should be reading loads of them).

We are busy and you do need to use the sticky thread first for self-help at each stage, and minimise the questions to free us up for when you (and all the other people in the same boat) really need help, with something not covered in the sticky thread.

We will see you at Witness Statement and evidence stage, then! :)

    Hello,

I have completed and sent the DQ to the court and the claimant. However, I have just realised that I might have messed up things. In the form it was written to send the DQ by the 8th of this month, which is today. I have sent them today. Should the parties have received the forms by today?

    Thank you.

Email it TODAY, to the CCBC AQ email that you emailed the defence to, with the claim number and 'defendant's Directions Questionnaire attached' in the subject line.

I have sent the DQ as an e-mail today around 1pm. Does it matter if I have sent it through post as well?

Also, now I have to prepare the WS while I am getting allocated to the county court. I have read on the forum that it takes up to 20 weeks to get allocated to a local court. Is that right?

I have watched the debate, should I contact Barry Sheerman - MP of Huddersfield?

If so, what exaclty should I ask him?

I could explain in an e-mail my situation, but how does that help me?

I apologize for my ignorance, but I have never been in a situation like this.

Also, can I draw points from the debate for my defense in court, ie conflicts of interest between Gladstones and Parking trade associations or things like penalty hot spots or threatening debt collectors?
  • Good evening,

I have received a letter stating that my case has been assigned to my local court in Huddersfield. I guess that from now I have to wait for the court to assign a date to my case, right?

In your experiences, do these take a long time to be assigned?
