Gladstone!!!8217;s have been busy by the look of all these posts! I have my LBC too. Wonder if they send these out in the summer hoping to catch people away on hols?

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences, aided and abetted by a handful of low-rent solicitors.

Parking Eye, CPM, Smart, and another company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (these two law firms take hundreds of these cases to court each year). They lose most of them, and have been reported to the regulatory authority by an M.P. for unprofessional conduct

Hospital car parks and residential complex tickets have been especially mentioned.

The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind they will be out of business by Christmas.

Got a response to my SAR. Not sure what I'm looking at and picking at on their response.

They have also said "we do not carry out automated decision making or profiling"

However, no response to my Lbc rebuttal using newbies thread DanielSan. They've jsut sent the Lbc claim again!!

What should I do?

Well they sent the LBC again as part of the SAR disclosure of letters, I assume?

The general thought is that Gladstones now live on another
planet ..... more likely "cloud nine"

Because their claims are based on rubbish, you have to
look upon them as a joke, not real, not professional.
Why do the SRA support them ????

Send your SAR over and over again until they give you
the answer you expect. If they don't it's straight to
ICO

sent the SAR again but this time more assertive and will complain to ICO etc.

also send the LBC rebuttal again with replyslip requesting paper copy.

so ive been reading many threads and recently there have been some who have jsut turned up to court without a proper defecne or no defence, no WS and still won. just relying on the Claimant's details as they fail to make the case they claim.

my own case i think i can win with street map photos no entrance sign, and i pruchased land regisrtry documents and it clearly is different to the version the PPC provide when i appealed.

so can i base my case just on these above facts. make it clear and simple for a judge

Maybe, maybe not. Personally I think 'simple' is painting yourself into a corner if the Judge disagrees on that point, you leave yourself nothing else.
