Tea, it may have been funny if it was even accurate. I've been living a day ahead of myself this week and it's actually tomorrow I get paid... darn it!

Never mind, an extra 24 hours I can just about deal with!

Yes, I am pleased with the ebay haul. Trying not to touch the PayPal balance until all fees are taken off and I know what I have to play with. We will see.

It's always a thought building something like that up just to take pictures. I'd maybe suggest finding pictures of the travel cost online to use, but as a buyer of a second hand item, I'd always prefer to see pictures of the real thing.

That reminds me, I still have quite a few baby items lying around that could be sold on. I've passed quite a few onto friends and a local baby charity but need to get into the loft and see what is there.

You should pick a day and then make sure that building it up and photographing it is the first thing you do. Get it out of the way, swallow that frog as DIA would say.

Oh no! Not long to go now though ;)

The problem with the cot is only hubby can do it so I need to get him motivated.

I got rid of all DD's things after categorically stating to anybody who would listen "never again" :rotfl: 6 months later I had this overwhelming feeling of broodiness, fell pregnant and had to buy everything again. Was older and wiser though so most of it was second hand.

    Have a lovely day. xx

Oh wow! That was a pretty quick turnaround on feelings :D

We are definitely done - both of us have felt this way since pretty much the minute that our youngest was born and that hasn't changed. I love our family unit and when i imagine it any bigger, i only imagine the problems, challenges, difficulties etc. I think that's telling!

Definitely get the husband booked in :) You'll feel better for it.

Well, today is turning out to be productive on the work front but I'm feeling a tad overwhelmed. Can't seem to shake the feeling. I think i need to write a list down on paper of what I want to achieve the rest of the week both at work and personally then try my best to stick to it. I know it'll make me feel better but even the motivation to do that is low. Own worst enemy? Me?

The biological clock suddenly started ticking - and sounded like a time bomb :rotfl:

The travel cot has been donated to the charity shop :o We dragged it down, looked at what they were going for on Ebay and both decided it wasn't worth it. We took it in and the assistant said somebody had been asking for one so she'd get in touch with her. I got more pleasure from that than the £10 it would have made after paying fees.

Lists always make me feel better. What needs doing never looks quite as bad when you see it in black and white. And just think of the satisfaction you'll get from crossing things off it. :) xx

Good for you Tea. Even though you didn't make anything from it, the cot is out of your house and it's doing someone else a turn in the meantime so I'd call that a win!

Today is list day - i need a work list, a shopping list to check off on Saturday, a personal to-do list, a packing list (for an upcoming work trip). I think that's it for now.

Today is also pay day - I have balanced the books, saved a little, transferred spending money to the spending account, and to the other accounts that i regularly transfer into. A huge chunk of our bills will come out on Monday so i'll check them off as they happen.

    Have a lovely day all!

Me too Moguline, although sometimes i feel like a list overwhelms me too. I think i basically need to pull myself together and just get on with stuff! haha

Put another £4.50 into my sealed pot this morning, emptying my purse since it's pay day.

I love a list as well and feel quite jealous you've got 4 on the go :D Hope you manage to cross a few things off them over the next few days. xx

If you're that jealous, feel free to take them off my hands Tea and actually become responsible for all the things on them! I'll just go off and rock in the corner while you are productive in scoring things off my list :)

Productivity is in full swing with work things at the moment, so going to keep on keeping on!
