  • £11.85 left til Friday and I need dog food today - a big 15 kg pack will more than blow my budget, but better to do that than buy a smaller pack to tide me over which is more expensive per kilo, otherwise the challenge will be costing me money! The big bag lasts about a month.

I'll look for any good reduced stuff too but other than that I'm ok til Friday, we've got so much stuff in

It was Morrisons and charged £2 for Meridian, it was light though, no full fat :cry:
Do I need it or just want it.

Two more spends on fruit and veg bits over the last week of £8.33 and £8.45. I might even manage to get away without spending too much more by the end of the month as there is still more freezer diving that could be done.

£11.10 since last post for July.

Giant watermelon, blueberries, veggie (vegan) mince, vegan bites x2, eggs, smokey chorizo tortellino, lemonade and cola.

For dinner I'm having vegan enchiladas using the veggie mince, a pack of be free wraps from the freezer and some vegan cheese I have that's open. Loads of veg from the fridge to go in it too.
For dinner OH is having the tortellino he got.

    £159.45/£155.
    £4.45 over.
I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy :D

I don't think there is such a thing as non-full fat tahini - it's just that there is a light and a dark variety. :) Light is made from raw sesame seeds, dark is made from roasted ones.
  • £21.02 spent today, so i'm declaring at £9.17 over budget. must try harder! :o
  • I have well and truly blown my budget for July - my budget was £110 and so far I've spent more than double that - £269.55 in total! It isn't quite as shocking as it sounds, as I've stocked up on food that lasts for months (such as half a kilo of bouillon powder). I've got enough dinners until the last week of August, breakfast porridge for weeks and plenty of crispbread for my suppers as well. So it's all good and it will all be eaten in time, none of this stuff will go off. Doesn't look good on paper, though. ;-)
