Afternoon all - I survived the grilling so all your good wishes helped!

The SQA run a RAG rating (red, amber, green) and all my areas were firmly green, no recommendations or anything.:j:j:j:j I'm so pleased that it went well, NOW I can relax.

Csarina - what a worry! I hope that things can be sorted soon for her.

TA - another worry. Perhaps some serious action can be taken soon for MrTA.

Nelski - did the stitches hurt?

Right, some serious relaxing about to take place. I've got a book written by David McCallum (Illya Kuryakin for those old enough to remember).

Yeah well done you :T I prescribe a large G+T or/and vino whilst sitting on your new bench enjoying the sun and the beautiful view

Embarrassing story re the stitches it would appear they are dissolvable and all bar 3 biggies have gone ...course all I could see without illegal hip twisting is the 3 left :o The nurses were cool though and I didnt have to go through feeling squiffy:) Hope they go soon though hairy looking thighs is not a good look :rotfl:

Judi, stick to your guns, I do childcare on my terms, I've always made it clear that I'll always help in an emergency but otherwise it's only as I choose.
I typed a,post this morning but the WiFi dropped out so I couldn't post it.
Two new tyres this morning, car tax and insurance paid today, bread and water for the next few weeks methinks!

  • Just had confirmation DGD has a clot in her lung, she is going to have to inject herself. OH had a clot in his lung last year, its usually something that affects older people, she is quite young at 33.

Oh csarina you really are having so many thing going on at the moment lovely aren't you. I think its high time the worry fairy burrgered off from your house. Hopefully the injections will help.

I know how worrying it is I too had a blood clot on my lung around 30 odd years ago years ago after a severe chest infection and had gone to the Drs to get some medicine and he thought I had possibly cracked a couple of ribs coughing and sent me for an X-ray !

I nipped down to the hospital and got the X-ray done then all hell was let loose and I was blue lighted to anoher hospital which I wasn't happy about as my car was parked in the first hospital car park, and I was due to do an early shift the next morning

They phoned my OH who got a pal to drop him off to pick it up and when he came in to pick up the keys he was not happy to discover I had been moved to another place :) I ended up in there for 10 days until it had dispersed .But hopefully today's medicine will be a lot better and far quicker. She is in the best place at the moment but you really must try not to stress.

Well today has been a scorcher and far too hot to do much ,although I did get a line full of washing done and dried.

My sis-in-law from Faversham has invited me out to dinner this Saturday night which will be nice as there is a lovely little pub near to her who do really nice pub food. I shall stay the night and come home on Sunday i haven't had the chance to have a catch-up for a couple of months because we both have been away on holiday and family things have got in the way.

Coffee morning at Dobbies tomorrow morning, and quiz night tomorrow night so no cooking for me tomorrow

Hope everyone else is fine and coping with the sun OK

    Cheers chums JackieO xx
