So whilst we are waiting for a MR, we cannot claim esa? Is that right? We have to claim JSA? Or are we just kept on the WRAG rate he!!!8217;s been put into? Really stressing out about this as myself and my OH are unable to sign on and job search each week, so I can see this is gonna be a very stressful time and effect our mental health even more so.... and could potentially spar a universal credit switch

this is gonna tip him over the edge even more so.

Yes, you stay on ESA in the WRAG group.

You do not need to Claim JSA or UC.

Does anybody know what our money will drop down to if he has been put in the WRAG?

As he started his claim before April 2017 then WRAG amount is approx £31.55 Income Related per week less than Support Group. This amount includes the Enhanced disability premium(EDP) that is paid in Support Group Income Related.

See ESA rates here. The EDP isn't included in thee rates.

It!!!8217;s so hard looking up an answer. So for a couples claim which we have I!!!8217;m guessing it!!!8217;s £114 per week plus the WRAG component thing?

I just looked at that link and we was on more in support group on the couples rate? We got £353.50 a fortnight but the weekly amount for couples in SG on that link is lower by about £51

Yes, that's correct because as i said the EDP (enhanced disability premium couples) which is automatically paid to those in Support Group on Income related isn't included in the link i posted. EDP couple is £23.55 per week on top of those Support Group amounts in the link.

    Please telephone them now.

It is a freephone number so you can just put it on speaker until they answer. It may take some time to get through.

The sooner you do it the sooner you will know.

It could be a mistake that he has been sent this letter. I must say that I find it incredibly quick.
