Aircon - re-gas?

They are separate things in all cars but the controls may be integrated. The heater heats the air. Air-con dries the air (by cooling it which is useful on hot days). The heater can heat up this cool dry air or not depending on the temperature setting. Aircon in every car I have seen can be turned on or off by a button which is nothing to do with the temperature control. Not in mine. But I think the aircon will blow hot too
The air drying of the aircon is ideal for fast demisting of windows and is why when you set the vent control to windscreen the aircon is usually turned on as well.0 -

I mess about with it, 17 when it’s red hot, 23 when it’s cold.0
