    You do know you can have the air-con and the heater on at the same time? They are separate things.

    Not in mine. But I think the aircon will blow hot too

    If you turn the switch over to red it should blow out heat, well I can do it in my car so Im going on the basis your car would be similar.

    I have climate control, just set it to 19° & leave it alone, all year.
    Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

    They are separate things in all cars but the controls may be integrated. The heater heats the air. Air-con dries the air (by cooling it which is useful on hot days). The heater can heat up this cool dry air or not depending on the temperature setting. Aircon in every car I have seen can be turned on or off by a button which is nothing to do with the temperature control.


    The air drying of the aircon is ideal for fast demisting of windows and is why when you set the vent control to windscreen the aircon is usually turned on as well.

    I mess about with it, 17 when it’s red hot, 23 when it’s cold.
