Thanks for your comments Sun Addict and Mark88man I'm having trouble with my lap top have to keep it in a certain position to be able to see anything. Its gone off twice already, hope I don't need a new one.
Sorted all my finances out, now only need to stick to it. No spend day today again had youngest GS and again tomorrow then work, day off, where we have a night out at a posh London restaurant then work work and day off, a bbq for late daughter birthday, always celebrate her day even if shes not here in body we feel she is in spirit.
Have a great evening and if my laptop is working I shall report back on any progress on the money front.0 -
by the way mark88man do you have a diary?
My best thread was a few years ago trying to feed family of 6 for 50p a meal on the basis that 6 x 30 x 3 = £270 a month at 50p and £540 at £1. That degenerated into nutritional arguments and accounting technicalities then the mods (godbless them) merged (smashed!!) two separate diaries together in the same way that a wrecking ball merges with its target and I gave upI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

thank you markman88 for your kindness, it is the reason we have a stroppy 13 year old boy living with us has been here since he was 3 and still can't get used to a boy when we had 4 girls. You sound super intelligent. I am equally as boring with my diary but I feel it might keep me in check.
Back to work tomorrow got overtime so its almost a break for me away from the grandchildren and with real adults and having a laugh.
I would like to read a diary of yours if you did start one, but to be truthful don't know if i'd understand it if you use long words lol x0 -
Thank you - I never use a short word where a long one will do xx
I will think about starting a diary - I have from time to time. What do you think of these as titles- Debt free thoughts - a special kind of Dull
- A journey from doing OK to I'm fine thank you
- A clever bloke's struggle with money
- I can't afford enough quinoa for both houses (tweaked from FB - overheard at Waitrose)
But I will genuinely think about itI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
