ALDI Medion 55" 4k Smart TV

    I've had other Medion stuff. It'll just be like any other cheap TV. Don't expect top draw quality but it'll be good enough. I have just sold a 40 Inch Technika Tesco TV that did me proud for about 5 years.

    My only observation of that Medion is there's not a huge amount of ports or connectivity options on it. If that's something you desire, you might need to look elsewhere.

    I've had plenty of Medion stuff, good value for money and never any problems.

    3 hdmi's+ DD spdif -plenty of visual and audio connections for average home user.
    Except rca red/white/yellow old type audio ports -not a great loss.

    Chinese owned - German electronics consumer brand. Most of their TV's are made by Vestel in Turkey.
    The same TV probably has more badges than your local scout leader. Don't expect dazzling performance, but it'll be as good as all the other supermarket brands...

    Probably enough then, although 4x HDMI's should be the standard imo. I prefer as many extra ports as possible, I have a more complex system than the average user. If it's just for the generic household, then it's fine.

    Medion for me has always been what happens with warranty or a fault in two or three years time . How easy is it to get it fixed .

    Aldi handle the warranty and have been very good I have found.
