  • Can I get a fine for somewhere where I was not actually parked?! And how can I prove this in court?

If they're not council then you should have just ignored them.
This poster is posting incorrect information across this forum

The advice is incorrect - you should NEVER ignore a PPC!

In short the advice is NOT to be trusted and could result in you getting a CCJ by default

Campbell19925 is giving out some seriously misleading, wrong, and potentially dangerous advice.
Secondly these are not fines, and yes a parking company can take you to court even if you didn't enter the car park, just as anyone else can try and take someone to court.
Proving a case though is another kettle of fish entirely.

Given he has a live court claim to deal with this so called "advice" is muppetry of the highest order.

The sign on the car park says Northampton Parking Management. The letters I have say National Parking Management, which is on that list.
You have said this in your defence, yes, and have photo evidence to submit with your WS? It isn't just confusing, it should be a winning point. No contract with the Claimant!

What exactly did your earlier defence say, if you are at WS and evidence stage?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
