'fraid they are getting slower and slower.
I guess that people moving money from foreign banks has overwhelmed them. It's just taken until this morning October to get me some info I requested on 11th October. Other stuff, I requested on 13th has still not arrived.

We had this Regular Saver for the first time this year and it is due to mature on 3rd Nov. We haven't heard anything yet from Britannia but we need to take the money to pay off some credit card tarting.

From what you guys are saying, I guess the easiest thing is to go into the branch and ask for a cheque on or after 3rd Nov, rather than waiting for anything to come from them (which will presumably just tell us the same thing ?)

Yes, however, I think you will find that the money is not available for withdrawal until the day after expiry. Take a look at the T&Cs.
