Football per se I don't mind too much its the waffle talked before and afterwards that I find boring :)especially afterwards when the 'pundts' (wafflers) sit and tell us all about what we have all just sat and watched for 90 minutes as though we had had our eyes shut.

Good job we are not all alike isn't it. but best news I had today was my DGD Katie passed her driving test with flying colours and I am so pleased for her as she was due to take it in March but she cancelled as the baby was due at the end and she didn't think she could cope with her 'bump' and a test in the same month.:)

DGS Danny is in London for a flying visit but her is only over from NYC for three days for meetings so although we are in the same time zone he has wall-to-wall business meetings then flies back on Saturday. But at least I got to natter to him on the phone for five minutes My DD and his Dad are going into London for a half an hour with him on Saturday lunchtime. Apparently he says the weather here is lovely compared to the heat and humidity of NYC at the moment.

I took DGS Jack to Dunelm this afternoon and we got lots of stuff for Uni, duvet, pillows etc so he is a happy bunny tonight

Right I'm off to bed for a read. Night, Night, God Bless all here
