Would be interested to hear 'newbies' opinions on a corned beef and beetroot sandwich.
For us, it has to be granary bread.0 -
I like beetroot.
I like corned beef.
But I've never tried them together.
I see an experimental sandwich coming .....The more I live, the more I learn.

I too think I need to try corn beef & beetroot sandwiches.
I recently discovered a can of corn beef dated best before 2012 that had been hiding at the back of a cupboard.
Opened it it was fine so went in a corn beef hash ! Tasted great !

Has anyone found a tin of this gorgeous stuff that opens without a key?
I have many bruises and bleeding to show for my previous efforts. So I haven't even bothered looking for it anymore.
But you have made me think again. But the key opening is a no no. Thanks!0 -
I don't find opening the tin with the key easy either. I usually get my husband or Son to open it but using a tin opener is virtually impossible because of the rounded corners....yes I'm ashamed to say I've tried. This is a system account and does not represent a real person.
