2.5kg Parcel Cheapest Way to Send

I have a brand new soft furnishing set which weighs about 2.5kg to list on Ebay most things I sell I send by Royal Mail small parcel but this is too heavy so the price jumps to well over £10. Thankfully I weighed it before I finished the listing otherwise I would have been well out of pocket.
Where can I get a better price which would also cover me for loss as I reckon it will sell for about £30ish.

Hermes, print in store label is £2.79 up to 5kg. I don't know if it covers your value/item specifically but the weight/cost ratio is good.0

Thank you will give them a go. Just had a look on website I cannot find any way to print in store do I actually need to do everything in store not through the website?0 -
Did you find this page? Enter your postcode to see if there is one local to you.
I believe the price for print in store is a special, and will be higher if you print the label yourself, but check through Parcel2Go for alternative prices.

Check your nearest store has the facility. There is a console in store. Enter your email address, the customers name and address then enter payment. label prints out on the spot. attach to parcel and hand over the counter. Job doneYou're not your * could have not of * Debt not dept *0

myhermes PRINT IN STORE is £2.79 (orv £2.99) upto 5 kg , I have been using it for a mth or so at my local petrol station , after entering details in an ipad thing , you pay by debit/credit card at a terminal connected to the ipod , it then prints a sticky label , hand over counter at garage , they scan and fill recept in
my alternative , as I have no printer is collect plus at about £6.50 or RM at about £100 -
I guess this is plus the price of getting the signature.
The annoying thing with different prices at at least 3 different points of sale is that my process at the end of the month for compiling accounts won't pick up all the Hermes costs at once and leaves me with scraggy bit of paper for this that and the other.Warning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise. My apologies! I really didn't know that to print in store was so much cheaper. Are there any size restrictions to send this way?0 -
cant remember , but i send out motorcycle handlebars , and even wheels (no tyres ), the items ARE signed for at the other end0

If you send to a business address, Hermes get a signature, other wise you need to pay the supplemental charge to stop your item being thrown over a garden fence.cant remember , but i send out motorcycle handlebars , and even wheels (no tyres ), the items ARE signed for at the other endWarning: any unnecessary disclaimers appearing under my posts do not bear any connection with reality, either intended, accidental or otherwise.
