Definitely not good enough Beanielou... I have received around £300 less than expected and have £12 breathing space in my budget for the entire month! It's going to take a lot of concentration this month

They are looking into the under payment at the moment, I will get the overpayment to the pension back in November's pay but am hoping that I might get the backpay some time during this month (fingers crossed!)17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41
01/03/2021 - CC1 £1126.13 CC2 £1850 total £2976.13
Emergency fund - £977.430 -
I think I need to admit that my boiler is neither use nor ornament, we have called out the gas board 3 times in the past 2 months and it has just stopped working again! My debt is, briefly, going to have to rise rather than fall. It looks like we can get a new boiler for around £50 per month from Corgi - we are current paying around £36 per month for home care, so I am hoping the 10 year warranty would mean a reduction in home care and subsidise the cost. The thought of more debt is definitely a bit scary though!
*** edit... I have mulled this over and decided that getting a 0% credit card is a better way to pay for the boiler, the £50 per month quote was paying directly to Corgi at 8.6% over 5 years, I've just taken out a card with 0% on purchases for 29 months, I have played around with the figures and it can be paid off in the 29 months so that would save just under £1200 compared to the alternative payment method.17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41

Well it looks like I will be doing some enforced saving for the next few months... I forgot to submit my gas and electric meter readings and my electricity has jumped up by £24 per month despite me already being £70 in credit but because I didn't submit the readings earlier, I can't claim any money back until February!17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41

I thought bad luck came in 3s... I feel like I have definitely had more than my fair share and now my phone has just fallen out of my pocket and my screen has smashed, ugh. It's insured but there is a £100 excess and I still have no emergency fund thanks to work underpaying me...17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41

I received my new credit card yesterday which I have used to purchase my new boiler and it will be fitted on Friday, all being well. The thing that I am finding really odd is fighting the urge to use the credit card to purchase things I don't need, just because it has a 0% purchase offer, I know that I have come a long way from where I was with my spending but clearly I still have some bad habits that I haven't entirely shaken!
I have had quite an MSE day by rebooking my hotels for 2 upcoming trips, they were both booked with free cancellation but I have saved about €55 by rebooking!17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41

Well, 11 days and 2 guarantees from HR that I will receive my back pay and it still isn't in my account. It's getting pretty disheartening that I work as hard as I can at work and they can't even be bothered doing their job properly or keeping their word.17/06/18 - loan £11,527.23, CC1 £3,682.79, CC2 £2,356.69, CC3 £2,128.70 - total £19,695.41
