    Anyway, great news! They (MET) have decided not to contest my POPLA appeal, so my appeal has been successful and I am no longer required to pay any charges.

    If it is useful/wanted, I will gladly put my appeal letter up somewhere (personal info redacted) if there is an appropriate place in the forum.
