I realise that my post sounded quite bad and a bit selfish, I think I've just had a particularly bad day. I do still enjoy a lot of my job and I'm interested in seeing where the changes lead as my role evolves. I'm also the only one left at my level (another lady has just found another job) so I feel there's a place for me to continue for a while and develop some of the next grade down to eventually take over.

Shouldn't post when I'm emotional! But thank you for your post, it is something I've thought about xx

JackieO - not a Mongolian! It's a diminutive of Rangers (football club). My beloved father was an avid fan, he took me to a few matches at Ibrox until my objections became too loud to ignore! I still gag at the thought of mutton pies and hot bovril.

My paperwork is 98% done, I just have to get ready for the dreadfed external next Monday. I've lined up a series of meetings with colleagues this week who are going to help me prepare before they go off to sunnier places.

So would I as I loathe Bovril :rotfl::rotfl: Interesting documentry though the little girl was amazing with her eaglet and their lives are so different from the youngsters in our country, she had a big beaming smile as well bless her. I love the Storyville documentaries great glimse of peoples lives from all over the world
