    I would never accept this with someone I don't know for three reasons:

    1) The point of this is for you both to avoid telling your insurers you have been in an accident, but it's mainly benefiting the person who caused it. Someone you don't know, of whom you know nothing about and owe nothing to.

    2) You have absolutely no idea if the other party is going to uphold their side of the agreement. They may or may not pay for the damage. They may very well bottle it and tell their insurer anyway, they may even claim you did it. You're then left having to explain to your own insurer that you've got yourself in a mess from an accident that happened days ago that you didn't tell them about, mostly to do a favour to a complete stranger who can't drive without hitting things.

    3) You don't know how bad the damage actually is. Does the boot still close properly? Has the floor sunk? Are all the gaps between the doors the same as they were or is the chassis twisted?

    Just no.
