No, you hand deliver to the court a nicely boudn bundle, in a folder with dividers, containing all yoru evidence.
    Email to claimant
    NOT the post.
  • Ok thank you so much, I wasn't aware of this so thank you for telling me!

Should I be asking for a receipt or some confirmation from court that they have taken my witness statement when i pass it over?

I will scan evidence and witness statement and make a combined PDF and send to gladstones then. I have looked through all my correspondence from them and could not find an email address, neither is one on there webpage, However I have searched on the threads and have found the following one
    litigation@gladstonessolicitors.co.uk
    hopefully this is correct.

Does my Witness Statement look ok ? Im guessing it does otherwise I'm sure a reader would have said.

Thanks for all the help as always its very much appreciated. I am learning so much through this process.

Eh? What do you mean by that heading?

    Tenant (not Tennant).

And not 'PPC' without first using the full words (PPC is forum shorthand, means nothing to a Judge).
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes and make sure the Court version is tidy, with a contents page and numbered evidence and all pages numbered, too.

I think part of the battle is to get the DJ on your side ASAP, and making the WS organised and easy to access helps.

In my situation, the claimants WS referred to colour coded references to where the signs were, but they had given the DJ a black and white copy of the WS. Did not go down well for the claimant at all.

    Oh dear.

As in the infamously unhelpful quote from commentator Ted Lowe, who once said:
Steve (Davis) is going for the pink ball - and for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green."

    Gaffe......!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

When their WS pack comes, could you post it up here without personal information. Only need to see

    a) The signs they claim were there
    b) pics of the car in "breach" and
    c) Their letter of authority or contract.

Thank you so much for all your help.

My court bundle is well presented and I have followed advice by doing a contents page and sections that are separated by dividers.

Received Claimants Bundle today so will scan and black out personal info, so I can show you their argument when i get a chance.

    Thank you. :)
