Maybe he thought he would get away with it posting on another board.

Sloppy messages?
Sorry for the duplicate post, Always using my phone to message not ideal, cleaned it up a bit now though. I only check the site occasionally.
Why do you stand on sills?
The sills on this car are huge, impossible for kids not to stand on sills (6 inches). Also its very easy to knock the sills when you are getting in and out the car like every car I've owned.
You guys all seem to be a very suspicious bunch, buyers remorse, standing on sills, giving the game away. But posting on this site will not resolve the problem, I'm asking for help so I can gage where I stand.
Let me narrow down the question...
Is it fair to compare the durability of this car to other cars of the same calibre, and will this justify requesting Jaguar to rectify the issues?0 -
Can post some pictures of these badly scratched trims??"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

What would providing pics achieve without understanding how much pressure was applied to cause the scratches.
For me to benefit from this post you will have to take my word as gospel and assume everything Im saying is truth. Instead of going Sherlock on me.0 -

How will the dealer know how much pressure was applied to cause the scratches .
If you ever do supply pics which is a perfectly reasonable request , don’t forget the custard0 -
Why would you want to reject a car because the plastic scratches ? It's plastic, it would have been plastic when you looked at the car before you bought it. What do you suggest they make the sills out of ? It doesn't affect the way the car drives, just ask your kids to be careful getting in and out of the car.0

I think posting some pics is a very good idea.
That would give us an indication of what you're complaining about and if its bad enough that you stand a chance of rejecting.0 -
Just drive it in the dark, then it shouldn't matter0

For Anyone else who has a similar issue with the F Pace...
This is a known issue, third-party manufacturers have started to make covers for the sills to mitigate the issues... (Not an ideal solution on a new car)
Rejecting the car, this would be a very last case scenario for me. You have 6 months to reject, they tell you 30 days but as long as you can get a professional report to confirm that the quality does not align with similar cars and expectations set by manufacturers then you stand a good chance.0
