Hello
Has anyone got experience with Sky Mobile and Swap24 option?
Is it a good contract to have?
Is O2 network better as compared to Three network?
I currently have a cheap Android mobile handset (<£100, 2 year old) and have a Three SIM contract ending this September for £7.99 per month for 4GB data / unlimited minutes + texts.
I am thinking of upgrading to iPhone, and what I see is as below:
All calculations for 30 month period
iPhone 7, 32 GB
Apple = £549 + £150 SIM (500 MB rollover data + unlimited calls/texts)
Sky Mobile = £618 on Swap24 + £150 SIM
So basically I am paying an extra £69 over 30 months for the privilege of spreading cost + getting a new handset (+new contract) after 24 months.
Is this too good to be true?

And Sky always quote a price with 500mb of data, which is nothing these days. Then they charge a lot for extra data. An old trick to advertise something cheap to get people in, then they have to pay more for what they actually want.0

It's not much no but it would actually suit a lot of people, especially with UL minutes & texts thrown in. They also don't attempt to hide it (they also do 1GB, 5GB & 10GB deals) so it's entirely down to the consumer to know what they need before agreeing to a long contract.
That said I certainly wouldn't splash out hundreds of pounds on an iPhone 7 and only have a 500MB limit on it, that sounds idiotic to me.0 -

Yes Colin, 500mb might suit lots of people fine, but I'm not sure they're the same people that are buying the latest smartphones. You need to compare them to the other networks who might be throwing more data at you at a lower price. I just think launching a new network with 500mb is really tight.0
