Help To Buy ISA query

I am over 40 and am considering buying my first property. I have an ordinary cash ISA already with a reasonable amount in it.
The question is, can I open a Help To Buy ISA and receive the govt bonus, even though I already probably have enough for a deposit?

Sounds like you'd be eligible to open a Help To Buy ISA and it doesn't matter that you have enough elsewhere for a deposit.
However, paying into two cash ISAs in the same tax year is a no-no, have you contributed to the other one since 6 April?0 -

No, my other Cash ISA is a fixed 1 yr deal, which matures in November0
