    You know what Andy, I reckon watching a film on an aircraft, will have to pass me by. May only need to do one more return trip which is booked, then it will simply be a stroll along our prom.

    I watch things on rail journeys. Either there is no wifi or it is too weak to allow streaming so I have a subscription to Netflix and download before I travel. It works well. As said above things like Iplayer are free so one can avoid the Netflix charge (not that it is expensive IMO).

    iPlayer is NOT free!! It can only be used if you have a TV license therefore it is not free. They check this before you can download.

    Agreed. I don't think they then ask for your address or TV licence number, it's just a tick box.
