What phone have I got?

I'm not someone who has to have the latest mobile phone, as long as I can make calls and send texts I'm happy.

Ive just been given one from a friend who has upgraded hers and I can use it but it probably does all kind of things that I haven't discovered yet.

I need to find out if it will work when I go on holiday to America in September. Its a Samsung but i have no idea what model it is.

Recently I went to buy a cover for it and the guy in the shop had a look at it and I saw him bring up the model number and some more details on the screen but I took no notice of how he got to it.

Ive been messing around looking in anything that I think may help, settings, tools etc but cant find the screen he was on anywhere.

To save the embarrassment of going back to ask him I wondered if anyone can give me any pointers as to where I may find it.
