You mean a note saying, Look, I don't have a permit, please issue me with lots of scam PCNs? It won't work.

The only way to stop this is: -

    1. Appeal each and every PCN and win every one at PoPLA.

    2. Send a SAR to the scammers and DVLA for each and every PCN. Complain to the ICO for each and every breach of the new GDPR.

    3. Get a copy of your lease AST and complain over and over again to your landlord about each and every PCN.

    4. Complain to your MP and Sir Greg Knight MP.

    5. Move.

Is there anything I can do to prevent getting ticket day after day?

I hesitate to suggest it because you have already said it's impossible, but park somewhere else.

Seriously, you need to consider moving home.

    Hey,

Thanks for all the replies, looks like my only options are as you've said, appeal each (I am in the process, as I can only assume they'll deny all appeals) then go to PoPLA.

While I'm waiting for a permit to be issued, probably park a good 5-10 mins way away until I get my permit, luckily I am indeed moving in about 3-4 months.

    Thanks.

Why do you want/need a permit, surely your AST gives you permission to park. You do not seem to understand, this is a scam. The best way to stop it is fight it.

    Hi,

My AST doesn't include any details on parking at all, the only mention of "parking" in the AST is this:

"To keep any garage, driveway, or parking space free of oil and to pay for the removal and cleaning of any spillage caused by a vehicle of the Tenant, his family, contractors or visitors"

So no mention of a permit scheme. No mention that a permit is a requirement of the AST agreement. No mention that a third party can charge tenants for parking in their demised space. No mention that a third party can issue proceedings against a tenant for not displaying a permit.

So why are you even considering displaying a permit when your AST does not require you to do so?

Your AST has primacy of contract and your rights cannot be altered by a third party.
Ge thee to PoPLA and win. Cost the scammers money.

As already said, appeal each and every PCN. Appeal each and every PCN at PoPLA.
SARs to the scammer and DVLA for each and every PCN.

Once you have done the first one, which is mainly a copy and paste exercise, it will only take a few minutes to rinse and repeat each and every subsequent PCN.

Why do you assume UKPC will deny all appeals?

Don't tell me you were planning on appealing about the fact you are a resident? NONONO.

If you have appealed the first one like that then you have less chance but for Googness' sake DO NOT appeal the second and subsequent ones the same way.

You should not even be appealing these until day 26, which you will understand when you read the NEWBIES thread. Please see that sticky, for the template appeal for ALL of your PCNs, and when you appeal online, do not choose 'driver'...as the sticky thread explains.

I hope you own the car and it's not leased/company/hired?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
